DON'T STRESS, PRAY!!!

DON'T STRESS, PRAY!!!

 Philippians 4:6
Ps. 55:22; Matt. 6:25; 1 Pet. 5:7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with (1 Thess. 5:17, 18)thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and (Is. 26:3; John 14:27); Phil. 4:9; Col. 3:15the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The times we are currently living in can be very stressful if we are not living by faith. Proverbs 3:5 says trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understand. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. We walk by faith and not by sight. What we see in the natural can lead to fear if we are not standing on His Word and believing that God is perfectly capable of delivering us and keeping us from harm. But we take a very active part in what He does in this world. I Timothy 2 says 1Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2
Ezra 6:10for kings and (Rom. 13:1)all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. Whether we like, love, hate or agree with those that are in authority, we are commanded to pray for them and that includes our enemies. The Bible gives many examples of God changing the course of history for empires when the people of God prayed.

God gave dreams to kings that didn't even know Him, which were then interpreted by individuals that heard from God. God gave 2 dreams to Pharaoh that spoke of a coming famine in the land and Joseph gave the interpretation which brought salvation to the entire realm of both the Egyptians and the Israelites. God spoke to Moses when it was time to confront another Pharaoh when it was time for the people of God to be delivered out of bondage. Samuel anointed both Kings Saul and King David. Isaiah Prophesied that Cyrus the king of Persia(ancient Iran) was called to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem that was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar. And Nebuchadnezzar was a Babylonian(ancient Iraq) king that was given a dream of an image that represented empires that would rise and fall until a final kingdom(the Kingdom of Heaven) would come and fill the Earth.

We can stand on Gods Word that says that the final Kingdom that was shown to Nebuchadnezzar and interpreted by Daniel, the final Kingdom that was represented as a stone that filled the entire Earth, the Kingdom Jesus said was like a mustard seed and leaven would fill the entire Earth and nothing can stop it.

We can either take an active part in advancing this final Kingdom, or we can stress, criticize and debate with one another in which case we are actually a hindrance to it's manifestation.

Mark 3:24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

Choose you this day who you will serve. Will you serve the spirit of Fear or will you serve the Spirit of Power, Love and a Sound Mind?
